  • Description:

    On February 26, 2025, Nacimiento Road Unit 3, a large pile of debris created by the Dolan Fire (2020) on the Los Padres National Forest, was ignited. While ignitions were ongoing, a cloud of flammable vapor and/or fuel ignited and burned a firefighter. They were treated onscene by fellow crewmembers, and taken medevac air ambulance to a trauma center, and then to a burn center. They are expected to fully recover.
