Description:
Logan Taylor was an Oregon Department of Forestry contractor who died as a result of critical injuries sustained during firefighting operations on the Rum Creek Fire on August 18, 2022. He was struck by a tree while engaged in fire suppression activities on BLM-managed public lands within the Medford District. Taylor was extracted from the location and transported via helicopter to Asante Regional Hospital in Medford, Oregon. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
