Description:
A crewmember on an Interagency Hotshot Crew assigned to the Bedrock Fire, Willamette National Forest, Oregon, was driving a UTV and swerved to avoid a collision with wildlife. The UTV rolled, but the crewmember was seat-belted in the UTV and was wearing a UTV helmet. The crewmember was transported to the hospital, diagnosed with bruised ribs, and released on the same day (8/14/2023.)
