Description:
While conducting fireline operations on the Camp Creek Fire, Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon, a firefighter stepped in a rut and fell onto their left leg/knee. The kneecap/patella was dislocated upon hitting the surface of the ground. Patient was able to reduce the dislocation on her own before medical resources arrived on scene. A fireline paramedic (EMPF) was on scene wrapped and iced the knee. Crew Leader advised they would transport patient to Meadow Base Camp via POV. Patient has been released from urgent care and was advised to place zero weight on injured knee. Will be demobed to return home for care.
