Description:
On August 2, 2024 three firefighters from a Massachusetts state district were removing smaller trees with chainsaws to make room to park their trailer and store other items at Chicopee Memorial State Park.
As they were clearing the slash, a dead limb from a green tree broke off and struck one of firefighters in the helmet/shoulder, knocking him to the ground. As the firefighter was wearing proper PPE, he only received minor injuries.Chainsaws, Project Work
