Description:
On Saturday, August 10, at approximately 9:00 p.m. PDT, a U.S. Forest Service firefighter was struck by a tree while engaged in initial attack operations on a new wildfire start on the Salmon River Ranger District, Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests, Idaho. The firefighter was initially transported via Life Flight to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho, and early this morning to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.
