  • Description:

    On Thursday, February 6, 2014, at approximately 1355 hours, a member of Vallecito Crew 2 was struck by a private vehicle. The crew was assigned to a brush clearing project along a narrow county road. During chipping operations, a vehicle passed through traffic controls and struck the inmate crew member. The inmate was treated for multiple injuries at the scene and transported by ground ambulance to Sutter Amador Hospital. The inmate was then transported by air ambulance to San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton, CA.
